Current Infection Control Practices in Dentistry (4 CDE credits)

This course is designed for dental professionals to obtain the most current CDC Infection Control Practices. As of 2017, all Certified Dental Assistants must annually earn a minimum of two (2) CDE credits in infection prevention, control or safety. Participants will have the opportunity to evaluate their offices current procedures

Biography: Theresa Lennon, CDA, RDA, BS began her career in Dental Assisting as a high school student. She is a graduate of UMDNJ's School of Health Related Professions. Theresa became employed as a full-time dental assistant in 1987. During that time, Theresa started teaching Dental Radiology and Certification Review courses for dental assistants. She worked for 18 years in post-secondary education at Dental Studies Institute in Fairfield, New Jersey. In 2006, Ms. Lennon took a position as a Teacher of Dental Assisting for the Monmouth County Vocational School in Hazlet, New Jersey. She is the owner of Staff Matters, LLC, a training and development company for dental offices which opened in 2006.
